During my efforts to sell my Toyota RAV4, I ventured to three dealerships in Maryland and Virginia. I decided to return to the dealership where I originally purchased from--Toyota of Bowie. I had the best experience selling my vehicle to their sales professional Shawan Dawkins. Not only was she professional, courteous, and informative, she offered me the best price for my vehicle. After processing the paperwork, since the shuttle driver was not at work on the July 4 holiday, she served as the shuttle driver and gave me a ride home. On the following day she returned my vehicle tags to the Department of Motor Vehicles. If this is not outstanding customer service, I do not know what is. Kevon Brooks was THE BEST salesperson. He diligently worked to find a Toyota Highlander when it was the end of the season and inventory was low, PLUS, I wanted a certain color! The only criticism about any MD dealer I have, is that they (not just this one) can charge a $500 "processing fee, not mandated by law". No one can reasonably explain but "everybody charges it", which I don't find acceptable. Customers need to reject this unfair practice, maybe by starting in Annapolis.

We had a great experience with Bowie Service Manager Ed Lopez and Service Rep Britalia King. Our car was in need of major repairs, and they went above and beyond to help us resolve our situation. They called in expert mechanic Ryan to explain to us in detail what the problems were in terms that we could understand. Their courteousness and professionalism was beyond anything we’ve experienced in the past. We’ll certainly continue to purchase Toyota products and services just as we have for the past 30 years.

Just bought my 3rd Highlander from Toyota of Bowie. I continue to come to this dealership because of the relatively easy buying process. Tom Greene, my salesperson, was very knowledgeable about all the features I was looking for in my Highlander, and we were successfully able to negotiate the pricing to fit my needs with the help of Tim. I do my research and know what I'm looking for in a car. I think the dealership appreciates this as it makes the experience that much better and easier. In completing the buying process, Evelyn Allen, the Settlement Manager, was extremely helpful with the financial process and answered all questions and concerns that we had regarding the warranties, pricing, etc. Also, from past experience, I would definitely recommend this dealership, not only for their efficiency, but also their Service Department. Due to buying my previously leased vehicle bought in Va but transferring everything to Md, I had to spend several hours at this dealership. Having to have an inspection, a fixed recall, new tires and several pages of info to be filled out, took up most of the day!!! I was treated so nicely by everyone there, especially Peter Morfaw, who had to help me along the whole way, and Allen Enfield in service, who moved things along as quickly as possible!!
